I spend a lot of time in cemeteries surrounded by nature\, art\, and history. There'\;s so much to appreciate. Graceland Cemetery is one of the most stunning.

Naturally\, I am THRILLED to be offering a memento mori embroidery workshop at Graceland.
\n\n
What to expect:
\n\n
A lovely afternoon outside learning to embroider (tables\, chairs\, and all materials provided) with a few dozen of the coolest Chicagoland folks around. I'\;ll teach you everything you need to know to stitch a masterpiece. We will celebrate life and probably talk about death because let'\;s be honest...we don'\;t do that enough and we should. We will make our own memento mori'\;s (or not...I really don'\;t care what you stitch...I just want you to be there to make art and be in community). Nothing somber here\; just community members making art and having conversation in a beautfiul arboretum! Did you know Graceland is also an arboretum?! You have to see this place.
