Taste of Uptown

The 7th Annual Taste of Uptown is an event that celebrates Uptown?s amazing cultural and culinary diversity. This restaurant crawl will feature small bites and samplings from Uptown eateries. Participants will receive an event passport and stroll from restaurant to restaurant along Uptown's business corridors, enjoying samples at various locations.

Online ticket sales will be open through Tuesday, September 26 at 5:00pm or until sold out. Event will take place rain or shine. All sales are final ? no refunds will be offered.

Once I?ve purchased my ticket, does it cost extra for the tastings?
No, the price of the ticket includes all tastings on your designated route.
Do I need to visit the businesses in any particular order?
No. Once you receive your event passport, you are free to go to any participating business on your designated route in any order.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, but a few locations will be serving liquor samples to those who are ages 21+ so please bring an ID.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
This event is accessible via the Wilson and Argyle Red Line stations in addition to CTA bus routes #22, #36, #78, and #81.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will be checking people in by name.
Why don?t I see my favorite Uptown restaurant as a participant?
This event is produced by the Uptown Chamber of Commerce, Uptown?s premier business association since 1923. The Uptown Chamber works to nurture a diverse, vibrant, and thriving Uptown by supporting and strengthening both existing and new businesses and organizations. Participation in this event is limited to members of the organization. We extended an invitation to all of our member restaurants to participate and we also invite non-member businesses to join the Uptown Chamber if they'd like to be a part of the event, but not all businesses chose to participate. Additionally, we aim to make the route of this event to be easily walkable, therefore some businesses may be ?hosted? at other businesses. If you?d like your favorite restaurant to participate, please mention it to them or let us know.
