Dim Sum & Then Some: The Uptown 5K/10K & Kids Dash

Please join the Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) this August 5th for the annual "Dim Sum and Then Some: The Uptown 5K/10K & Kids Dash!". This race is more than just a run/walk, it offers each participant a unique cultural experience by drawing from the wide range of ethnicities that CMAA serves in Chicago and Elgin, IL. For years, the Dim Sum race has brought our community together. Through this event, CMAA endeavors for people from Chicagoland to experience the heritage and diversity of Uptown and its residents.
 
Enjoy our course through Uptown, Chicago’s most diverse neighborhood and then cap the run off with some delicious dim sum and bubble tea while enjoying performances by CMAA’s youth dance troupes!
 
All proceeds benefit Chinese Mutual Aid Association serving low-income immigrants and refugees of all ages and abilities from over 40 countries.
