Your Deductible Is Probably Met. Nobody Is Going to Tell You.
This is the least romantic post I will write this year, and possibly the most useful. It's late October. If you have health insurance and you've used it at all in 2026 — a surgery, an ER visit, a chronic condition, a pregnancy, physical therapy, maybe you had a bad year — there's a reasonable chance you have already met your deductible.
