The Chamber is focusing on the fundamentals in 2025. We're reserving one day a week to engage our members and facilitate relationship building.
Uptown's 2025 Tuesday networking events are designed to bring together local businesses and nonprofits in a fusion of fun and professional growth. Our engagement series is built on the basic principals of relationship building and mutual support. On Tuesdays we'll tap into our diverse industry mix: Business Referral Networking, Happy Hour Networking, Nonprofit and Women's Networking, and thoughtfully positioned Industry Huddles.
The Uptown Chamber of Commerce is offering opportunities to invest in sustainable growth! Co-brand individual events or connect with a series and benefit from your investment all year long. Each event is a unique opportunity that can elevate your mission and your impact. Grow your bottom line while adding value for those seeking to grow their professional networks and tap into Uptown's dynamic pool of talent.

Happy Hour networking is the proactive business-forward way to wind down the work day. Get the team together and head over to the local lounge and meet other professionals who do their best work in Uptown.
This is a casual, structure-free session with a chill vibe that can be hosted by any retail food establishment or tavern with an active City of Chicago liquor license. Typically hosts offer a one-drink consideration and light bites and operate otherwise as they normally would.
Not-host sponsors have an opportunity to co-brand event communications and connect to attendees in a thoughtful, concise manner through brief address or through branded merchandise/tabling.

*Nonprofit networking events are the best way for team members from any level of a nonprofit organization to come together and meet other mission-based, Uptown-located professionals.*Interested sponsors for these in-person noontime events are encouraged to invite folks over for a brown bag lunch, or provide lunch – it really depends on who gets the spark first and puts their name on one of the two nonprofit industry networking events. Uptown has some of the very best nonprofit organizations in the whole City. From caregivers to theatres to housing providers to schools; we get a lot more done when we can get together to share information.
Women’s Networking 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM Location TBD*
March 18, 2025 September 16, 2025
Women start businesses in Uptown, they lead our organizations, and women trailblaze. We value our opportunities to get this force together a couple of times a year to share experiences, provide support, engage professional networks, and create pathways forward.
Past sponsors have engaged professional consultants to facilitate trainings, opened their doors and provided space for active discussion, catered lunch and created community – reach out with your idea for creating a memorable networking experience for the community of Uptown women in business.
